Creamy Rice Pudding

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Carolina®, Mahatma®, River®, Watermaid®, Riceland®, or S & W® White Rice
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed milk
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup raisins (optional)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla

Step 1
Measure rice, water, and salt into medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer and cook uncovered for 40 minutes.
Place rice in top of a double boiler; stir in EAGLE BRAND®, margarine and raisins (optional). Cook in double boiler until mixture has thickened, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
