Mascarpone Cheese Substitute

The next time you're cooking a meal and realize you forgot to buy mascarpone cheese, this recipe is here to save the day. This substitute works like a charm-- at less than half the cost.

Ingredients

• 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
• 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
• 2 1/2 tablespoons sour cream

Preparation

NOTE: Do not substitute low fat cream cheese or low fat sour cream!
