Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts, cut in half
- 3/4 cup Honey Mustard Garlic Sauce
- 1/4 cup Soya Sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 can (10 oz) Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Brown Long grain rice
- 2 cups prepared veggies (sliced carrots, celery,
- zucchini, broccoli and cauliflower florets,
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a bowl combine chicken, Honey Mustard Garlic Sauce and Soya Sauce.
Let marinate at least 15 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, in a large sdaucepan, bring chicken broth and water to a boil
and add rice. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in
vegetables, cover and cook 10 minutes more until tender crisp. Carrots and
celery take longer to cook so add along with rice to boiling water.
3. Grill chicken 5 minutes per side on the BBQ or under the broiler. It is
cooked when no longer pink. Chicken can also be put on BBQ skewers.
4. To serve. divide mixture among serving plates and top with chicken.
