Bread Pudding with Vanilla Caramel Sauce

Homemade Bread Pudding made with a heavy Challah bread or heavy Italian Bread. Covered in a vanilla caramel sauce!

Ingredients
- BREAD PUDDING:
- 8 Slices Challah bread, torn into bite size pieces
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla
- 2 Cups Whole Milk
- 1 Stick Butter
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
- dash Salt
- VANILLA CARAMEL SAUCE:
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar packed
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
BREAD PUDDING;
Put milk and butter in a medium Sauce pan, cook over medium to heat milk and melt butter.
Put torn bread in a 9x13 baking dish. Pour sugar and eggs over bread. Add Vanilla, salt and Cinnamon to bread.
Pour warm milk and melted butter over bread and mix everything up till evenly mixed.
Bake at 350 Degrees for 20-30 minutes, until brown around edges.
VANILLA CARAMEL SAUCE:
Put all ingrediants in a medium Sauce pan and cook over medium high heat till it begins to thicken. It will thicken more upon cooling. Pour over warm bread pudding.
