Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp. Canola Oil
- 2 Small Peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 tsp. Fresh Ginger Root, minced
- 4 tsp. Teriyaki Sauce, reduced sodium, divided
- 1/4 Cup Red Onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. Pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1 1/2 lbs. Ground Turkey
- 1/3 Cup Mayonnaise, fat free
- 6 Multi-grain Hamburger Buns, split and toasted
- Optional Toppings: Lettuce, Tomato, Slices of Peaches, Red Onion
Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Add peaches and ginger root and cook until peaches are tender. Add 1 teaspoon Teriyaki sauce; cook 1 minute longer. Transfer to small bowl and cool slightly. In a bowl, combine onion, pepper, salt and remaining teriyaki sauce. Add ground turkey; mix lightly but well. Shape into six 1/2" thick patties. Moisten a paper towel with oil and with long tongs rub on grill rack to coat lightly. Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4" from heat, 5-6 minutes per side. Stir mayonnaise into peach mixture. Serve burgers on buns with peach mayo and toppings as desired.
