Pork Chops, baked (Amish)

Ingredients

  • 5 Pork Chops
  • 1 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Boiling Water
  • 3 Tbs. Oil

Preparation

Step 1

Add seasonings to Italian bread crumbs. Beat egg and stir in milk. Dip chops into egg mixture and then bread crumbs. Brown chops in oil in skillet. Place chops in a baking dish and add boiling water, enough to cover the bottom of the pan. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for about 1 hour.
