Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless beef round steak trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 med onions cut into small wedges
- 3 cups sliced fresh button mushrooms (8 Oz)
- 1 10 3/4 Oz can condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 cups hot cooked whole wheat noodles or pasta (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Place onions in slow cooker.
Top with mushrooms and meat.
In a med bowl combine soup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and pepper and pour over meat.
Cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours, high heat for 4 to 5 hours.
If desired, serve over hot pasta.
