Ingredients

  • Meatballs:
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1/4 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large Onion - Quartered
  • 2 carrots, thinly Sliced
  • 1 green Pepper, Cut in chunks
  • Sauce:
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 chicken Boullion Cube

Preparation

Step 1

Combine Ground beef, Bread Crumbs, Egg, Garlic Salt and Pepper
Form into meat balls and brown evenly in a fry pan
Cook until done
pour off all by 2 tbsp fat
Add prepared vegetables and stir fry over med heat for approx 6 mins or untill tender crisp
In a small saucepan, combine Brown Sugar and Cornstarch
Gradually blend in water, vinegar and soy sauce
Add Bouillon cube and bring to a boil, stirring until well thickened and clear
Add to vegetables, along with meatballs
heat thoroughly and serve
