BROWNIE MIX

Ingredients

• 2-1/4 c. sugar
• 2/3 c. cocoa
• 1/2 c. chopped pecans
• 1-1/4 c. flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Set aside. Layer ingredients in order given in wide mouth canning jar. Add the flour mixture last. Be sure to wipe inside of jar with a dry paper towel after adding the cocoa powder. Attach directions to the jar:

Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Add ¾ c. melted butter or margarine, 4 slightly beaten eggs. Mix until completed blended. Spread batter into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 2 doz. brownies.
