Ginger Snaps

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup Molasses ( Green Label is best)
- 2 eggs
- 4 tsp baking soda
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp nutmeg or cloves
- 1 tsp salt

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a 3 qt sauce pan over low heat. After cooling, mix well with sugar, molasses, well beaten egg, flour, salt, soda and spices. Chill overnight. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 8 minutes.
