Butter Pecan Coconut Cake

Delicious cake recipe from my friend Jo. The recipe doesn't call for any topping or frosting, but Jo's husband Gordy loves chocolate so he added chocolate frosting to his piece. It was delicious. We brought home leftovers from her house and I drizzled chocolate sundae syrup over it and it was awesome!!
Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1 pkg Betty Crocker Butter Pecan Cake Mix
- 1 container Coconut Pecan Icing
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup oil
- Topping:
- Canned chocolate frosting or chocolate sundae syrup
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease and flour bottom and sides of bundt or tube pan
Sprinkle pecans around bottom of bundt pan
Blend cake mix, eggs, milk and oil together for 30 seconds
Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes
Fold can of icing into batter
Put mixed ingredients into pan and bake for at least 45 minutes - it may take morel
Don't take out until toothpick is clean
After cake is cooled, you may spread with chocolate frosting or drizzle sundae syrup if desired
