Ingredients
- Pie crust (can be made or bought)
- Sausage (such as italian, chorio or kielbasi)cubed
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- One 1/2 pound goat cheesse log, cut into rounds or crumbled
Preparation
Step 1
Blind bake crust (let cool)
Preheat oven to 375
Mince garlic and some scallions oe onions
Whisk milk with the cream, and eggs.
Salt & pepper
Fry sausage cubed & cooled
Arrange sausage on bottom of crust and top with goat cheese. Put garlic and onions on top. Pour custard into shell and bake for 40 minutes or until set. Transfer to a rack to cool slightly. Cut into wedges.
