ORANGE CHICKEN

Ingredients
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t paprika
- dash of pepper
- dash of garlic powder
- 6 halved chicken breasts
- 6 T olive oil
- 1 lb fresh mushrooms-quartered
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c chicken broth
- 1/2 c orange juice
- 1/2 c dry white wine (optional)
- 1/4 t nutmeg
- 2 t brown sugar
- 2 c diagonal-sliced carrots (1/2 inch thick)

Preparation
Step 1
Blend four, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Coat chicken with the flour mixture. Heat oil in pan, brown chicken breast well on both sides. Scatter clean mushrooms and carrots over chicken. Mix soup, chicken broth, OJ, wine, nutmeg, and brown sugar until smooth. Pour soup mixture over chicken. Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender. Serve with rice.
