Ingredients
- Chewy Pecan Caramels
- 1/4 pound butter
- 2 Cups brown sugar
- 2 Cups white granulated sugar
- 2 Cups white Karo Syrup
- 1 qt. Coffee cream (half and half)
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 Cup chopped pecans
- Dash of salt
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in large pan. Blend in sugars and salt. Add syrup and stir slowly ad coffee cream while stirring mixture cook over medium heat until mixture reaches a firm ball stage (245 degrees) remove from heat and add vanilla and pecans. Mix well pour into buttered pan (9x13x2). Set overnight cut and wrap in wax paper.
