Ingredients
- 2 good sized onions
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 T vegetable oil
Preparation
Step 1
peel and slice onions fairly thick,at least 1/4 inch thick
separate rings,refrigerate until ready to use
beat egg, add rest of ingredients, mix well
heat oil in large saucepan,filled half full.
when oil is hot enough, dip onion rings into batter
cook until golden brown on both sides
