Tuna Patty Melt

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 ½ oz) cans tuna, drained
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • 1 cup crushed saltine crackers
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • vegetable spray
  • ½ cup Miracle Whip
  • 6-8 slices American cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except cheese in a large bowl. Mix well and form into patties. Brown in a skillet or on a griddle over medium heat using vegetable spray to prevent patties from sticking. Heat about 3 minutes and turn, continue cooking until lightly browned (about 3 more minutes) . Just before removing from heat, top each patty with a slice of American cheese, letting it melt. Serve immediately.
