cheddar and chili dip

an ideal starter for a hungry crowd

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 heaping tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp lime zest
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion, white and green parts, plus more for garnish
  • salt

Preparation

Step 1

in a bowl of a food processor, blend everything but the green onion and salt until smooth. add the onion and pulse one or two more times until it's incorporated. add salt to taste and stir. transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
