Ingredients

  • Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add:
  • Bread Pudding
  • 5 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cup raisins
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • bread torn up
  • VANILLA SAUCE
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 8 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla
  • Allow butter to melt and mix sauce together until smooth. Pour warm sauce over warm bread pudding.

Step 1







Combine all(not vanilla sauce) in mixing bowl. Add enough torn up bread to soak up custard mixture. Pour into 13x9 baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1hour, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
