  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2/3 c. milk

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add liquids. Knead lightly on floured surface. Cut. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes.
