Ingredients

  • Frosting:
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 Tb. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 2 loafs of French bread, sliced 1” thick
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tb. Light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1/2 lb (2 sticks) butter, soft
  • Some shopped pecans, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Dip each slice and place in a 9x13 greased pan. Put in refrigerator overnight. The next morning, spoon the frosting over the top of the casserole and spread like frosting. Bake and serve with hot maple syrup.
