Ingredients

  • or EASY WAY:
  • 15 cream-filled chocolate-mint sandwich cookies
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pkg. crème de menthe chocolate candies, unwrapped (about 28 candies total)
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 pkg oreo mint cookies
  • 1 cream cheese
  • White almond bark
  • chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Break cookies in half and place into food processor, cover and chop until fine crumbs. Add cream cheese and mix. Form into balls and place on waxed paper.

Melt in microwave the chocolate candies for 1-1 ½ minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Cool slightly. Dip truffles into chocolate; place back on waxed paper. Melt chocolate chips in a separate boil, pour into a baggie. Slit a hole in bottom corner of bag and drizzle the chocolate over the truffles.

Can substitute cream-filled vanilla sandwich cookies. Add ½ tsp almond extract to cookie and cream cheese mixture. Omit the chocolate candies and roll balls in crushed almonds. Melt white chocolate chips over top.
Also can substitute 12 peanut butter sandwich cookies and add 3 oz. of cream cheese. Roll balls in crushed peanuts and drizzle chocolate chips over top.

or EASY WAY:

Crush the oreo cookies and mix the softened cream cheese. Form into balls and dip in melted white almond bark. Place on waxed paper. Melt a little bit of chocolate chips and put in a sandwich baggy. Clip one corner and drizzle it over the white balls.
