Chocolate Rum Balls

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 c. crushed vanilla wafers
  • 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 3 T. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. rum or bourbon

Preparation

Step 1

Combine crushed wafers, 3/4 c. sugar, cocoa and nuts. Blend in corn syrup and rum. Shape into 1" balls; roll in confectioners sugar. Store in airtight container for several days to develop flavor. Roll in sugar again before serving.
