Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) bag pecan halves
- 1/2 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, undiluted
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On a rimmed baking pan, place pecans in a single layer. Bake pecans, stirring occasionally, for 10-15 minutes, or until fragrant and toasted.
In a small heavy saucepan, bring juice concentrate, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt to a boil. Boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in toasted pecans.
Line baking pan with aluminum foil. Drop pecans 1/2 inch apart onto prepared baking pan. Let stand for 15 minutes or until firm. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
