Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • 4-5 lb Pork Roast (rolled and tied)
  • 6 Garlic Cloves (3 cut & 3 minced)
  • 1 Fresh Rosemary sprig (minced)
  • Rubbed Sage
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven at 325 degrees.

Rinse and pat dry pork roast, set out at room temperature for 30 minutes. Cut 3 garlic cloves in half and place inside rolled pork roast. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the outside of the pork roast; then rub with the sage. Rub the minced garlic and rosemary on the top of the roast. (Amount of seasonings used are to individual taste.) Place pork roast in a roasting pan, uncovered.

Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes per pound or until internal temperature reaches 170 degrees. Remove roast from pan and cover with aluminum foil for 20 minutes to rest while preparing gravy with pan drippings and side dishes. Slice and serve.
