Soy Ginger Glazed Salmon

By

Glaze for making salmon. Similar to teriyaki sauce. Also works well on chicken and veggies.

Ingredients

  • Glaze
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • Juice and zest of 2 oranges
  • 3 T honey
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1/4 c chopped green onions
  • Salmon
  • 6-8 oz fillet per person

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Warm slightly (30 seconds in microwave). Add green onions and stir to dissolve sugar and honey. This recipe makes enough glaze for 4-6 salmon fillets. If not using all glaze, it can be refrigerated for up to 2 months. Bring to room temp before using.

Place salmon fillets and glaze in plastic bag and marinate for 35-40 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray glass casserole dish with non-stick spray. Remove fillets from bag and place them in dish. Pour remaining glaze from bag over fillets. Bake 15-18 minutes depending on how done you like your salmon.
