Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 small bell pepper chopped
- 4 large potatoes chopped
- 3/4 cup peas
- 3 +1/2 cups chicken broth
- 2 lb. skinless, boneless chicken pieces 1-inch pieces
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1 tsp. each basil, rosemary and thyme
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- for dumplings
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup bisquik mix

Preparation
Step 1
stir vegetables, chicken and spice together in crock pot
add 3 cups chicken broth. cook on low setting 2 hours.
in a small bowl, mix flour and remaining broth together, then stir into chicken mixture. cover and cook another 4 hours, until vegetables are tender, and chicken is no longer pink. stir in cream
for dumplings;
mix together cream and bisquik mix, until a soft dough forms, add more cream if too thick. drop spoonfulls of dough on top of chicken mixture. cook uncovered 30 minutes, then cover and cook another 30 minutes, until dumplings are cooked through
