Ingredients

  • Meatballs
  • 1 can (20oz.) water chestnuts
  • 1 1/2 bunch green onions
  • 2 1/2 lb. lean ground pork
  • 1/8 cup soya sauce
  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs
  • Sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp hot mustard
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp beef Bovril
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • sweet pickle juice

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ground beef mixture and shape in to small balls
Roll in cornstarch and fry until brown.

Mix sauce ingredients together and bring to a boil. Thicken with 3 tbsp of cornstarch in water

Boil for 15 minutes
