Sweet Potato or Yam Bake

Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1 can (23 oz) yams (or 2-3 sweet potatoes, cooked)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups sweetened condensed milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon each, nutmeg and allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup margarine

Preparation
Step 1
Heat and drain yams. Mash. Add sugar and milk and beat well. Add eggs, margarine, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg and mix well. Pour yam mixture into a greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish.
For the topping: mix flour, cinnamon, powdered sugar and walnuts. Sprinkle mixture ontop of yams. Dot with margarine and bake uncovered at 375 for 35-45 minutes.
