APPLE BROWN BETTY****

Ingredients
- Lemon Sauce:
- 1 c. margarine
- 4 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. rolled oats
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. flour
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice

Preparation
Step 1
Cream margarine and sugar. Stir in the oats, cinnamon, flour and salt. Spread over apples. Any left over topping put in the fridge.
Bake at 370 F for 30 minutes.
Sauce:
Mix sugar, cornstarch, boiling water, butter and lemon juice. Serve warm or cooled over the Apple Brown Betty.
