Ingredients
- 2-1/2 c. flour
- 1 t. salt
- 1 c. butter
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- milk
- corn flakes
- 4 lg. apples, cored,peeled & sliced
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1 egg white, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Cut butter into flour & salt. Add milk to egg yolk to make 2/3 c. Add to flour. Divide in half. Roll out to fit into bottom & sides of jelly roll pan. Sprinkle bottom with crushed corn flakes. Arrange apple slices over corn flakes. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture over apples. Roll out rest of dough & seal edges. Brush top with egg white. Bake for 1 hour @ 375. Frost with icing.
