- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 small onion thinly sliced julliene
- 1/2 cup olives sliced
- 1 cup sliced red, green peppers
- 1 bunch of baby salad green
- 1 tsp. oregano and basil
- 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
- 1 loaf of sturdy italian bread
- 1/2 lb. sliced deli meats...ham, soppresata, salami, cappacola
- sliced cheese

Step 1
whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard and honey. add spices, then vegetables.
slice bread in half, lengthwise, and remove some of the interior from top. spread some the salad on each half. layer the meats, and cheese slices, to make 3 layers of meat, 2 layers of cheese...cover with top of bread, wrap tightly in saran wrap, let sit a few hours before serving...can place bricks on top, to meld everything together well...serve in slices.
