Emeril's First Alphabet Soup

Here's something to season your foods, like the grown-ups do with Emeril's Original Essence
- Baby Bam Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups chopped yellow onion
- 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
- 1 1/2 cups sliced carrots
- 2 teaspoons Baby Bam, recipe follows
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 quarts low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup alphabet pasta
- 3 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons onion powder

Cream butter and sugars until smooth
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/4 cups packed dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter( not tub butter/margarine)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 egg whites or one egg
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Hello all. Here is the actual recipe for Hemstrought's half-moons
- OR THE COOKIES:
- 3 3/4 cups flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 1/4 cup sugar
- 16 tbsp. margarine, cut into pieces
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- FOR THE FUDGE ICING:
- 3 1/2 oz. bittersweet chocolate
- 3 1/2 oz. semisweet chocolate
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 4 1/3 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
- 2 tbsp. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Pinch salt
- FOR THE BUTTERCREAM ICING:
- 7 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 16 tbsp. room temperature butter, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 7 tbsp. milk
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

- 1 tablespoon milk

INSTANT POT EASY SESAME CHICKEN AND RICE

In a gallon-sized resealable bag, mix together 2 Tablespoons cornstarch with salt and pepper
- 3 Tablespoons cornstarch (divided)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless, chicken breasts (could also use chicken thighs)
- 2 Tablespoons sesame oil (divided)
- 6 Tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 1/2 Tablespoons ketchup
- Pinch red pepper flakes
- 6 Tablespoons honey
- 3 Tablespoons water
- 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds

- 3 cups reserved homemade chicken stock
- 2 cups rice
- 1 whole chicken, the one that was boiled to make stock and picked of meat
- 1/2 cup green olives, chopped
- 1 10-ounce box frozen peas, defrosted
- 1 cup salsa
Italian Chicken and Dumplings

Place a large pot of water on to boil for gnocchi
- 5 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 2 pounds chicken tenderloins, diced into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 12 large white mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup shredded carrots, store bought
- 4 ribs celery from the heart, very thinly sliced
- 1 to 2 fresh bay leaves
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 cups chicken stock, divided
- 1 cup basil leaves
- 1 clove garlic
- A generous handful parsley leaves
- A handful pine nuts, lightly toasted
- A couple handfuls grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
- 1 lemon , zested
- 2 (10 to 12-ounce) packages, fresh gnocchi
