Snickerdoodle Bundt Cake

A delicious bundt cake with a cinnamon sugar swirl inside
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 3 eggs, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup full-fat sour cream, at room temperature
Company Pot Roast

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F
- 1 (4 to 5-pound) prime boneless beef chuck roast, tied
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- All-purpose flour
- Good olive oil
- 2 cups chopped carrots (4 carrots)
- 2 cups chopped yellow onions (2 onions)
- 2 cups chopped celery (4 stalks)
- 2 cups chopped leeks, white and light green parts (2 to 4 leeks)
- 5 large garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 2 cups good red wine, such as Burgundy
- 2 tablespoons Cognac or brandy
- 1 (28-ounce) can whole plum tomatoes in puree
- 1 cup chicken stock, preferably homemade
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 3 branches fresh thyme
- 2 branches fresh rosemary
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, at room temperature
Gingerbread Cake with Cheesecake Filling

Beat together filling ingredients till smooth
- FILLING
- 8 oz pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 egg
- CAKE
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp ginger (recipe calls for 1 tsp)
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (I didn't add these)
- GLAZE
- 1 cup icing sugar (confectioners, powdered,10 X)
- 1 - 2 Tbls milk
Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies (like La Madeleine)

Directions Simmer raisins and water over medium heat until raisins are plump, about 15 minutes
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Spinach Salad (for a crowd)

- 6 (15-ounce) jars spinach salad dressing
- 16 (10-ounce) bags fresh baby spinach $
- 3 dozen hard-cooked eggs, chopped $
- 5 pounds bacon, cooked and crumbled $
- 4 large red onions, sliced (optional) $

Guiltless Alfredo Sauce

Place milk, cream cheese, flour, and salt in a blender and blend until smooth
- 2 C low-fat milk
- 1/3 C (3 oz) low fat cream cheese
- 2 T flour
- 1 t salt
- 1 T butter
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 C grated Parmesan cheese
Layered Salad

layer as per ingredients
- 1 st- 1/2 head lettuce
- 6 boiled eggs, chopped
- 1 / 2 lb. turkey bacon, crumbled
- 2 nd- 1/2 head lettuce
- 1 can peas, drained
- 1 small onion , chopped
- 3 rd- 2 cups REAL* Mayonnaise
- 1 small container sour cream
- Shred cheddar cheese over top. Chill.
Strawberry Salad

sweet tangy dressing on green lettuce, with strawberries and toasted pecans
- 1 C vegetable oil (I use Light Olive Oil)
- 1/2 C red wine vinegar
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 t white pepper
- 2/3 C sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t paprika
- 1/2 head red leaf lettuce
- 1 bag Monterrey Spring mix (not sure if they call it that anymore)
- (or I just use large clam shell container of Baby Spring Mix or Field Greens for ALL the lettuce)
- 1/2 lb strawberries
- 1/2 C chopped toasted pecans or walnuts
- 1 pint shreddeed Jack cheese (I usually leave out. The original recipe I have said "slices of Jack cheese")
