Scott and I had these at a bed and breakfast that we went to on our one year Wedding anniversary in Paris, Michigan
- Cider Syrup:
- 2 cups biscuit mix (Bisquick or similar)
- 1 scant teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 3/4 cup grated apples, about 2 medium apples
- .
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cups apple cider
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons butter
Tenderloin, Cranberry and Pear Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing

- 16 ozs beef tenderloin steaks
- 12 tsp black pepper
- 5 ozs salad greens
- 1 pear
- 14 cup dried cranberries
- salt
- 14 cup chopped pecans
- 14 cup goat cheese
- honey mustard
- 12 cup honey mustard
- 2 tbsps water
- 112 tsps olive oil
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar
- 14 tsp black pepper
- 18 tsp salt
Marshmallow crispy treats

- Nonstick cooking spray
- 1 tablespoon trans-fat-free soft tub margarine spread
- 1 (10 ounce) package of marshmallows
- 6 cups crisp brown rice cereal
- 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP

This is the closest recipe I have found to my Dad's
- 1 whole fryer chicken (pull out bag & rinse)
- 7 c. water
- 1 med. onion, sliced
- 2 celery stalks
- 2 carrots
- Dash of garlic salt
- 1 Lipton golden onion soup mix
- 4 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 to 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- Noodles of your choice
Spiced Pork Chops with Apple Chutney

- 1 tablespoon butter
- 5 cups (1/4-inch) cubed peeled apple (about 3 apples)
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons minced peeled fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
- 3/4 teaspoon ground chipotle chile pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 (4-ounce) boneless center-cut pork loin chops, trimmed

Spaghetti Squash I

Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- 1 spaghetti squash, halved lengthwise and seeded
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes
- 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 3 tablespoons sliced black olives
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Fried Zucchini

Directions Wash and dry the zucchini
- 3 zucchini
- 1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Grape Salad

Delicious for a side, but so good, it could almost be a dessert!
- 1 lb Red grapes
- 1 lb green grapes
- 1 pk cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 pkg toffee bits
Cashew Nut Salad

Great recipe for a delicious salad
- Shake or beat together the following:
- 2 bags of Italian or European blend salad greens
- 1 cup cashew pieces
- 1 cup finely shredded co-jack cheese
- Dressing: (It's best made a day or two ahead to let the flavors blend)
- 3/4 C canola oil
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1/3 C white vinegar'1 tsp prepared yellow mustard
- 2 tsp grated onion
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- dash of salt
HAM CHEESE OVEN OMELET

This is a great recipe. Easy! We make it sometimes for breakfast or even for dinner
- 8 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) smoked sliced ham, beef or corned beef
- 1 c. shredded cheddar, Swiss or Mozzarella cheese (about 4 oz.)
- 3 tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. pepper
