Keeping It Fresh At Fazoli's

We partnered with     Fazoli’s® and got to check out their new menu for lunch        yesterday. They have recently switched things up a bit to provide something fast, but  natural and clean at the same time. We stopped at our local Fazoli’s and were immediately  greeted by the smell of fresh bread sticks and classic Italian food that really got our appetite going.

What goes into our food is important to everyone at Key Ingredient, so we were happy to eat food that wasn’t filled with artificial ingredients. As of June 19th, Fazoli’s completely removed all artificial sweeteners,  flavors, preservatives and colors from their menu.

Fazoli’s is only the third major restaurant to provide their guests with meals that are completely clean. Along with their new     clean-eating initiative, Fazoli’s also rolled out a new menu that   features new items and customizations such as “create your own lasagna.” With such a varied menu, there’s something for everyone at Fazoli’s.

We ordered the turkey mozzarella fresco sub, chicken parmigiano, market strawberry chicken and feta salad, and the ultimate sampler.  

With an abundance of almonds and fresh strawberries, the     market strawberry chicken and feta salad was a refreshing lunch during the heat of   summer. The turkey mozzarella fresco sub was packed with flavor and fresh vegetables.

The pasta entrees were classic Italian dishes featuring their signature marinara sauce that tasted even better with their melt-in-your-mouth breadsticks. The Ultimate Sampler       included tasty ravioli with meat sauce,      fettuccini alfredo, spaghetti with meat sauce and ziti giving you all the pasta you could ask for. 

We were too full to enjoy dessert for lunch, so we took home some cheesecake that we enjoyed later in the office.

Overall, it was great to get Italian food in a   casual environment without breaking the bank. As Fazoli’s       undergoes major changes to provide clean eating and better quality meals, one thing remains the same:    Fazoli’s bread sticks are and always will be     delicious. We love that they were unlimited just like more expensive restaurants, without the price, and better than most.
