Preparation

Step 1

Fry bacon cut in pieces and drain on paper towel. Reserve 1/4 cup of the bacon grease.

Cut up chicken in 2" pieces. Toss in a ziplock bag with cayenne, garlic powder, clove, white pepper, and parsley.

Add flour to bag and shake again.

Heat grease in non-stick skillet so it is hot, but not smoking. Cook chicken undisturbed for 3 minutes (should be nice and brown on bottom) and flip to cook for 3 more minutes.

Pour maple syrup over chicken and sprinkle with the bacon. Cook for 2 minutes and stir.

Pour whiskey over the chicken and let it bubble for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir together and cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes.

Serve with rice.
