Sausage Bean Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 15oz can butter beans, drained & rinsed
- 1 15oz can black beans, drained & rinsed
- 2 c. beef broth
- 1 14oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 tbs minced fresh basil
- 2 tbs shredded parmesan cheese

Step 1
In a large saucepan, cook sausage, onions and garlic until sausage is browned. Add beans, broth, tomatoes and basil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. sprinkle with cheese before serving.
