This is an old family recipe. They are delicious and chocolatey!
Yield: 9 servings
Beat eggs lightly with spoon. Stir in sugar, salt and vanilla, then melted shortening and chocolate. Stir in flour. Do not beat at any time.
Pour batter into 8 or 9-inch square baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30–35 minutes or until a tester inserted comes out clean. Brownies should still be soft.
Let cool in pan. Cut in squares.
