Dutch oven full of potatoes (just salt)
fairly large onions, finely chopped
Cook meat in approximately ¼" of water in large kettle with onion. Keep stirring stirring and mashing to break up lumps during cooking. Towards the end, scoop out fat. While cooking, boil potatoes and mash. Add mashed potoatoes (with nothing but salt added). Add spices to taste. Do taste test after each addition until to your liking. Using two crust pie dough, divide filling between 4 pies, top with crust and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.
