  • 1-1/2 -2 cups Fresh Cherries, smashed with pits
  • 1 Bottle of White Balsamic Vinegar or any Balsamic Vinegar (keep empty bottle to pour final product into.)
  • Covered container

Preparation

Step 1

Wash and rinse cherries. You can remove the stems but you don't have too.

Smash the cherries until the seeds are free.

Place in covered container and pour balsamic vinegar over until it is completely covered, plus an couple of inches above that.

Cover and place in a dark area. Check every couple of weeks to see if the flavor has developed to your liking.

When you are happy with your product, strain out the cherries, pits and stems, and pour into the empty vinegar bottle.
