Basic Oat and Almond Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/3 cup Sliced Almonds
  • 1/3 cup Dried Cherry Berry Blend or any other Dried Fruit, roughly chopped
  • 1/3 cup plus 2 tbsp Organic Blue Agave Sweetener
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1-2 tsp Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix agave sweetener and coconut oil. Heat in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds or until it blends well. Add the cinnamon and stir until well mixed.

In a larger bowl, combine the oats and almonds. Pour the liquid mixture over the dry mixture and stir until everything is well coated.

Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet and spread out evenly.

Place in 300 degree oven and bake for 10 minutes, then stir. Bake another 10 minutes and stir again. Repeat again until mixture has baked for 30 minutes, and the oats and almonds are golden brown.

Remove from oven and let it cool. When cool add the dried fruit.

Store in a air tight container.

Makes 3 cups.
