Ingredients

  • Leftover steak, sliced
  • 2 green bell peppers, 1/2-inch slices
  • 1 large onion, 1/2-inch slices
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, quartered
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • mayonnaise
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 6 sandwich rolls

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat saute pan on grill. Saute vegetables until desired degree of doneness, about 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside. Quickly reheat grilled steak. Remove and set aside.

Spread sandwich rolls with mayonnaise. Fill rolls with steak, vegetables and a slice of provolone cheese. Wrap sandwich with foil and place on the grill or in oven. Cook until cheese has melted. Serve.
