Whole Wheat Penne with Ham and Four Cheeses
My attempt at using leftover Easter ham.

Ingredients
- 1 16 oz bag Whole Wheat Penne Pasta
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 bag Frozen Peas, or 3 cups Broccoli Florettes
- 3 cups Ham, cut to your desired size
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 3 cups Milk, Non-Fat
- 2 cups Trader Joes 3 Cheese Blend
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, Grated
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Grated Nutmeg, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Pour penne into boiling salted water and cook until Al Dente, about 15 minutes.
In a sauce pan, melt butter until just turning golden brown, and add flour, stirring until well mixed and bubbly, you don't want a floury taste.
Add milk, one cup at a time, stirring well between each cup, until thoroughly mixed. Add pepper and nutmeg, to taste.
Mix in grated cheese blend and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese. Mix well. Add to cooked pasta. Stir in peas and ham.
Pour into a greased, 9x13 pan. Top with final cup of grated cheddar cheese.
Place in oven and bake until thoroughly heated, about 30 minutes.
