Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter, cold and cut into small pieces
  • 3/4 cup Half and Half
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup Butterscotch Chips
  • 1/3 cup Butterscotch Chips, chopped
  • 1 Egg White

Preparation

Step 1

Place flour and butter in a medium mixing bowl and cut in butter until you get a crumbly mixture.

Add sugar, baking powder and salt. Combine well.

In a separate bowl, mix half and half, milk, egg and vanilla until well blended.

Stir liquid into the dry mixture, blending to form a soft dough.

Scoop mixture onto parchment lined baking sheets. Brush the tops with beaten egg white and sprinkle chopped chips over top.

Cut into wedges.

Bake at 425 degrees for 16-18 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cool on a wire rack.
