Ingredients

  • Liquid:
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 12 ounce can frozen Orange juice concentrate
  • Fruit:
  • 2 cans Mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 large can crushed Pineapple with juice
  • 6 diced bananas
  • 2-3 cups fresh berries
  • 7 up approx. half of a liter or to taste

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to boil and cool. Add orange juice concentrate.

In a large bowl, combine all fruits. Combine juice with fruit. Place in desired containers. Pour 7up on top of each container, about 1/2 cup or more. Place in freezer and freeze 4-5 hours or overnight.

Take out 30 to 45 minutes before serving. Break up into slushy chunks.

Note: I always add fresh cherries, cut in half, in the summer when they are available.

I also add up to 5 or 6 cups of fruit and add more 7up.
