  • 1/2 pound chocolate candy bar
  • 12 ounces almonds
  • 1 pound butter
  • 2 cups sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Grate chocolate candy bar. Finely chop almonds. Mix together and spread half of mixture over bottom of oblong cake pan.

In heavy saucepan cook butter and sugar over medium high heat, stirring constantly to 300 degrees on candy thermometer.

Pour over nut mixture on pan and top with remaining nut mixture. Chill 2 hours and break into pieces
