Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp grated orange rind
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups shredded carrots
- 2/3 cup nuts
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup hot water

Step 1
Cream butter and sugars, add spices. Add eggs one at a time. Add carrots and nuts. Add remaining ingredients, alternating with hot water.
Bake at 375 for 35 minutes in 9x13 pan.
