- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, cut into pieces
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla or
- 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp peppermint

Step 1
Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Stir in boiling water, salt and chocolate. Cook over medium heat until it thickens. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and flavoring(s).
