Cinnamon Pecans

Very tasty. Unlike those that use the egg white wash, these are cooked on the top of the stove and do not require making a syrup. Any whole nut can be used.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Evaporated milk
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 pounds Pecan halves
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except the nuts in a large heavy pot. Heat over medium heat stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add the nuts and continue to cook until all the syrup has evaporated and the nuts are completely sugared. Stir CONSTANTLY to prevent the mixture from scorching. Spread on parchment paper to cool. Store in an airtight container.
