Ingredients

  • 6 apples, cored
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • Optional: Whipped topping

Preparation

Step 1

Peel a strip around the top of each apple to help prevent cracking. Arrange apples in a slow cooker. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients except whipped topping; mix to blend. Spoon over apples. Cover and cook on low setting for 3 to 4 hours, until apples are tender.

Cool slightly and serve warm with whipped topping, if desired.
